Membership Promotion

The Membership Promotion Committee (MP) recruits new members, supports engagement across all industry sectors, encourages advancement to higher membership grades, and helps retain current members. The committee organizes membership drives, encourages joining at chapter meetings, ensures proper recognition, works to boost retention, coordinates with regional leadership, and collaborates with Student Activities and YEA to sustain long-term membership.

This Training is for MP Chair or Co-Chair that will be serving in their role from July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027. Please assist us in getting this message to those that will be serving as MP Chair or Co-Chair for the 26-27 Society year. For travel to be reimbursed, the member must be in the CIQ for the 26-27 Society Year.

Due to budgetary constraints, this year ASHRAE will only reimburse/pay for transportation of 1 attendee from each chapter, each Society year. We recommend that the MP Chair attend. They must be identified in the CIQ. 

There will be only one in-person Centralized Training meeting for this coming year. If you cannot attend the in-person Centralized Training, there will be a virtual option announced later.

Cost: There is no fee to register for Centralized Training. ASHRAE covers your flight or mileage, whichever is more affordable, based on the ASHRAE Transportation Policy.

ASHRAE has reserved room blocks at both the JW Marriott Austin & the Austin Marriott Downtown. Why not stay for a few extra days and earn some PDHs by attending the conference? If you are attending the conference, a hotel link will be sent to you once you register for it.  If you are only attending the MP Centralized Training, please reach out to me for hotel information.
